The approach to the lovely family home is both warm and inviting. Having been improved and extended in recent years it really does tick all the boxes.
The property itself is accessed via a large and spacious hallway. From here, doors lead to the main hub of the home. The open plan family reception, dining and kitchen area is cleverly zoned and the space is perfect for entertaining as well as creating a sociable family area. The newly fitted kitchen with breakfast bar is a dream. The carpentry boasts on-trend colour palettes and copper accents and the kitchen itself is well integrated and offers plenty of counter top space to create those culinary delights.
The converted utility and cloakroom can be accessed from here which in turn leads to a secluded and peaceful outdoor area as well as the all important family snug. An ideal retreat. For those that are green fingered, the garden certainly does not disappoint. Accessed via French doors, it leads out onto a raised decked area and a mature and established garden with the most wonderful plantings.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom. The south facing rooms benefit from the most wonderful sea views. The converted top floor is eclectic in style with plenty of storage, sea views and an indulgent shower.
Bright and spacious, this house is in a popular residential area of Hove with its great parks and popular schools. In a special “village” location which includes cafes, delis, a green grocers, wine shop and a butchers amongst others, you are also within minutes of the beach and fashionable shopping districts.
What the owner says...
Living in Amesbury Crescent has been just wonderful. The children have been happy in the local schools and as they have grown walking to their friends’ houses and playing in the numerous local parks. We have spent many a happy afternoon at the sea and being able to walk down there at the drop of a hat with no preparation, just a bag, has been a godsend; until we started paddle boarding of course – then we had to carry that too! Portland Road has many a lovely pub for us to walk to and chill out with friends and we are 10 mins from town as well. Amesbury is a combination of leafy quiet, sea and life – the perfect location that has it all. The Amesbury neighbours and the general community are friendly and fun and we will miss them a lot. In fact, why are we moving? Can we change our minds?
