With the seafront at the end of the road, this six bedroom detached house has plenty to offer, with off street parking, large west facing garden, 2,400 square foot of internal space and is in good decorative order throughout.
As you enter into the hallway, you have access to the majority of the ground floor rooms, as well as a guest cloakroom. The reception is very generously sized, with living and dining space measuring over 31 foot in length. There is plenty of fitted storage and access to the study room, which could be used as a nursery or for other uses. To the rear of the house is the modern kitchen with breakfast bar area and a veranda, which has sliding doors to create a veranda style space opening straight to the garden.
The first floor has four of the bedrooms, the master bedroom with a large bay window and sink, as well as plenty of space for furniture and storage. There is a family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Two further bedrooms and an additional family shower room are to the second floor, which is ideal for student letting or for children to have their own space.
Welbeck Avenue is located between New Church Road and Kingsway. Wish Park is located on the next road, which has a childrens play area and cafe, whilst the sea is also at the bottom of the road. Aldrington and Portslade Stations are walkable and offer direct access to London.
What I will miss the most about this lovely home is the west facing garden and enjoying the late evening sun. My children have enjoyed many years of growing up in this child friendly neighbourhood and having the benefit of Wish Park being just a short walk away.
Having the sea at the bottom of the road has meant spending many summer days and evenings on the beach and this is something I am really going to miss having on my doorstep.
