Guide price £1,500,000 to £1,750,000. Hugely private and secluded, this magnificent gated property measures over 5,000 square feet. Located within easy reach of the marina and central Brighton, the interior of this superb home is immaculately presented throughout to a wonderfully high standard. Landscaped gardens, a heated outdoor swimming pool, games room and summer house along with a bespoke kitchen and a wealth of contemporary finishing touches make this a fantastic example of a modern family home.

Set back from the road behind sleek electric gates and a walled landscaped garden, the striking facade of this double-fronted home captures your attention.

Instantly creating an undeniable sense of space, the large central hallway leads the way through the hugely versatile layout of the ground floor where an elegant dual aspect reception room has a wonderful amount of space to relax and entertain. A log burner adds a traditional focal point while double doors open onto a conservatory that makes it easy for you to step outside and relax by the pool. An additional dual aspect family room and separate study/office with a Neville Johnson library both allow you to be poolside in moments. The central hub and real heart of this home is the spacious kitchen/dining/living area whose easy flowing open plan layout offers a superb space to spend time together as a family. Well-appointed and beautifully arranged, the handmade Mark Wilkinson kitchen is fully fitted with rich oak cabinets and a first class array of integrated appliances. A fabulous Aga adds a vibrant splash of colour, while a central island delineates the space. Versatile and sociable, the outstanding proportions supply a wealth of space for everyone, while French doors once again lead you out to the heated swimming pool and landscaped gardens.

Designed to maximise the flow of natural light, a sleek Neville Johnson staircase takes you upstairs where a galleried landing offers far-reaching views of the surrounding paddocks and greenery. The graceful sense of style and space continues in each of the five double bedrooms. Beautifully lit by triple aspect windows, the spacious primary suite stretches out across the full depth of this Ovingdean home and features a superior en suite bathroom with a roll-top bath, walk-in shower and countertop basins. The adjacent bedroom opens onto a large private balcony and shares both the views and a Jack and Jill shower room with an equally well-presented bedroom. Along the hallway two further double bedrooms are well-appointed with fitted wardrobes, and a family shower room matches the exceptional levels of presentation that flow throughout each room.

Downstairs on the lower ground floor a games room and adjoining pool room effortlessly extend the notable footprint of this detached home, adding to the free flowing feel of house to garden.

Outside, the landscaped gardens that wrap-around the house combine to provide a stunning backdrop to each room in the house. Statuesque trees and shrubs supply high levels of privacy, and paved terraces add secluded spaces to enjoy al fresco meals and relax by the heated outdoor swimming pool. Step up onto the large established lawns and enjoy the countryside views, or step inside a summerhouse that adds a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

This is simply a spectacular house. It's awe-inspiring to look at, and truly easy to live in. It's a beautiful home with a huge amount of space and a lovely feel. It's really peaceful to live here, we only have one neighbour, and it's lovely to be able to look through the garden and into the surrounding paddocks. If we weren't relocating we wouldn't be moving
